BUTTER TARTS
1/3 cup butter
1 cup sifted brown sugar
2 Tbsps milk or cream
1/2 cup currants
1 egg beaten
1 tsp vanilla
Pastry
Mix ingredients together and place spoonsful of mix into lined tart pan.
Bake at 450 degrees for 8 minutes, then reduce to 350 degrees and
bake until delicate brown.
